New Logo UnveiledCamp Fircom went through a re-branding process starting in January 2012 and the final version is now ready for use. The themes behind the new logo were growth, nature, balance, evolving, and discovery. The logo depicts four shapes stacked on top of one another – growing in size from bottom to top and each containing a different symbol: a cloud, a flower, a root, and air bubbles. The column of pebble-like shapes are balancing on each other, a condition that requires peace of mind and focus to achieve, and a reminder that these rocks all depend on one another to maintain this state.Inside each "pebble" is a reference to one of the levels of nature that is represented on the island. Air is the furthest up which supports the plants and trees underneath, whom in turn depend on the soil to put down their roots. The fourth pebble represents the water that supports feeds the roots, but also the sea that surrounds the island and circulates in the air, thus coming full circle. Each pebble is also partially masking off each element and in turn becomes an aperture, or a window, hinting that there is more to discover. This is the main logo that will eventually be on the Fircom website, letterhead, business cards, etc.
This is the camp version which will be used for our camp marketing, t-shirts and other tuck shop goodies.
We hope you like the new logo and are as excited as us about moving Fircom into a new era of growth and discovery.
