Kelly Diamond
Outdoor Environment & Camp Director
Kelly comes to Fircom with a bounty of knowledge and experience for the outdoors. Wilderness is in her blood – as her great grandmother was the first female hunting/fishing guide in Canada!

Originally from Ontario, Kelly grew up going to camp every summer, and learned about outdoor wilderness travel and survival while on out-trips to Algonquin Park and Killarney Provincial Park. Her love for the outdoors was nurtured by her father, a Scout Master, who taught her how to love fishing and camping. After receiving a degree in Human Kinetics, Kelly worked in the field of rehabilitation before moving out to BC in 2003 when she went back to school to obtain a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management. Kelly worked for 4 years with the BC Environment Ministry (BC Parks) as a Park Ranger, Naturalist, and Park Planning Officer. Kelly has joined our team after leaving the world of Social Services, where she worked at making the municipality of West Vancouver accessible and inclusive for people facing social, financial, developmental and physical barriers.

Kelly is passionate about wilderness and environmental ethics and sustainability, and is proud to be sharing inspiration and knowledge with future generations of ”earth lovers“.
